This principle should underpin every Christian's life of service. When love fills the heart, it naturally leads to acts of service. We are saved by faith, love stems from faith, and together, faith and love motivate us to serve. It's a seamless progression, an inevitable journey from sin to salvation to service – the outworking of the Christian experience.
Just as a tree bears fruit as a part of its natural growth, a Christian produces the fruit of a devoted life – a life rooted in love – it's simply an intrinsic part of who we are. That fruit manifests as service.
The need for Christian service is greater than ever, and opportunities abound everywhere; they are visible daily, all around us – right at our doorstep. Look around and see what opportunities are before you. Ask Him, “Lord, what do You want me to do?
