John 7:17
If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching,
whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.

Faith is a journey with certainty as its goal. Some people reach the stage of "I want to believe" or "I'll pretend to believe," while others progress to the level of "I hope" or "I really expect." But many never achieve the confidence of Nicodemus, who said, [John 3:2] "we know that You have come from God" or of Peter who said, [John 6:69] “we have believed and come to know that You are the Holy One of God."

In our modern world, we often demand proof before belief. A doubter asks, "Prove Christ is divine, then I'll believe." I would say this; if you want to believe, then live a Christian life. Jesus teaches that “If anyone is willing to do His will” they shall "know of the teaching." It is by obedience to His will that we journey to the goal of a sure and living faith.
