One of the first verses of Scripture I ever memorized as a new believer is Isaiah 26:3 [NKJV]: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”
Confidence is one of the Christian's greatest comforts. It assures the mind, stays the heart, and strengthens the soul.
God is! The mind believes it, the heart accepts it, and the soul rejoices in it.
God is good! We are His beloved children! The Holy Spirit confirms this through God's Word and our faith.
We need God! – His care, His guidance, and His deliverance.
All this, and more, is provided through His Son Christ Jesus, and when we believe by faith and trust in Him, we are kept in perfect peace just as the prophet Isaiah declares.
