God’s faithfulness allows us to have total confidence in every promise He has written down for us in His Word, and that frees us from the grip of anxious worry. The Bible says, “He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23). His promises, which cover every moment of our lives, are as certain as His character. Jesus is “the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead” (Revelation 1:5), and His resurrection is the sign and seal of God’s power to guarantee His Word to us. The Bible ends with the ringing declaration: “These words are faithful and true” (Revelation 22:6).
